*Special Note* - This video is from a wedding celebration that I was proud to be a part of in the summer of 2011. The excellent video production for this event was done by Blueberry Fusion. As the DJ, I provided the video company with the audio output from my sound equipment. As you watch this video, please pay close attention to the quality of the audio as the vows are spoken and toasts are given. Also, notice that all sound reinforcement elements are hidden away, leaving nothing to take away from the beauty of this inspiring wedding ceremony as it was filmed. This is a direct result of the superior equipment standards and quality audio production techniques employed by Scott Shaw Productions at each and every event that I am involved in.
ARRON & ALLISON'S WEDDING - BLUEBERRY FUSION
They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. It seems like there might be some truth in that statement! Allison is an amazing chef, an accomplished author ("You Can Trust A Skinny Cook"), and television host ("Blue Ribbon Hunter”, a travel and cooking webcast on Yahoo).
Allison and Aaron (who also hosts and writes for “The Daily Ticker,” a financial news webcast on Yahoo) were married in the backyard of the Fishman (Allison's parents) residence, which we absolutely adored! Having a wedding at a house is an amazing way to nurture the sense of community within a group of family and friends. It doesn't hurt that their house was absolutely incredible and located in such a perfect location right along the waterway. That, and the house was completely decked out with so many custom touches! The incredible team at Fiore completely out-did themselves with the floral design and Steve Peterson with High Performance Lighting provided the perfect accents.
The ceremony took place in their neighbor's yard and was beyond gorgeous. Take note of the special moments that happened during their ceremony in the highlights film. There were so many unique touches, especially regarding the rings. Guests were asked to pass the couples' rings down a satin wire. As the rings passed by them, they were to say a prayer for them. YESYESYES! We'd never seen a ring ceremony quite like that! We also loved when Aaron's daughter shared a moment with both of them under the Chupah.
THE TOP TEN LIST
The Top Ten List is always a highlights of any wedding reception. This is always a fun presentation! Not only does it bring the focus on the Bride & Groom, but it gets eveyone involved in a uniquely personal way due to the fact that the guests are supplying the answers that end up in the final presentation. In this example, In this instance, Eric and Mary are getting some great advice from their close friends and family at their wedding celebration.
PHONE CALL FROM FAR AWAY
"A Phone Call From Far Away" is another presentation that I always enjoy. Very often, there is someone who is very important in the lives of the bride & groom who, for whatever reason, could not make it to join them in their wedding day. This phone call is shared by everyone present, and is a wonderful way to include that person in the celebration, no matter where in the world that they may be!
JAKE & MANISHA'S GRAND ENTRANCE
A favorite wedding moment of mine is always the Grand Entrance. I think it's an important presentation, because this brief moment can accomplish so much. It gives the Bride and Groom an opportunity to express just how important that the members of the wedding party are in their lives while creating a sense of fun to let everyone know that the celebration is about to begin!
